We have many CLASSES from which to choose. Check out our selection below, then call or stop by our shop to pre-register.

 

Also, SIGN UP to receive our In Stitches email announcements about upcoming classes, events and sales. Stay on top. Be the first to know! Just fill out the form to the right and click to submit. It's that easy!

 

CLASS POLICY: You must pre-register for all classes. To avoid disappointment, register as early as possible. Registration deadline is one week before the class. Please pick up a supply list and purchase your supplies before the class meets. At least 3 people are needed to register for the class to meet. The class fee will be refunded only if the class is canceled. If you have to cancel, please let us know. Samples are on display at the shop. Machines are available for you to use, just let us know if you’d like to use one. Purchasing supplies at “In Stitches” will entitle you to a 10% discount on them. Also, due to the fact that many people have allergies, we request that you not wear perfume to class. If you have any questions regarding the above policy, please call or stop by.

OTHER ACTIVITIES AT IN STITCHES


Block of the Month
Block of the MonthStarting in November, will be this new block of the month. This was our Stars Over Indiana Shop Hop quilt. It is made with Kansas Troubles Fabrics by Moda. We will be using the same colors and Kansas Troubles fabrics.

Stop by each month and pick up the block kit for $6.00. The finishing kit will be available as shown. The finished size of the quilt is 53” X 67”. Orders for the finishing kit will need to be made by January 1 with a $20 deposit.


Wildflower Rhapsody
Starting in January 2012, this will be our quilt club project and also a block of the month. This quilt is by Wing and a Prayer Designs with fabrics by Timeless Treasures.

Wildflower Rhapsody

If you wish to have instruction on making the blocks, quilt club will be meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 11 am and again at 6:30pm.

If you wish to come and pick up the blocks, that option will also be available. The blocks kits will cost $21.95 each month. There will be a $20 registration fee. Call or stop by the shop for more details on quilt club and see the beautiful quilt. We have one on loan made by the designers. It is simply beautiful!


Million Pillowcase ChallengeMillion Pillowcase Challenge
We are participating in the Million Pillowcase Challenge sponsored by American Patchwork and Quilting. So far, we have donated a total of 119 pillow cases to Rushville’s Victim’s Assistance and Hope House in Greenfield. The pillowcases can be made for children, men and women. They should be full size. If you need a pattern, we will be happy to provide one.
