Super Bowl Sunday Sale
We know the Colts won't be in the Super Bowl, but we are still having our sale on February 5 from noon – 5 pm. Fabric will be 25% off as well as patterns and books. Fat quarters will be $1.75 each with 20 for $35 when purchasing 20 of them. (The price if purchasing less than 20 will be 25% off.)

Cabin Fever Shop Hop
Mark your calendar for February 17 – 25 for the 2nd annual Cabin Fever Shop Hop. Each of the 10 shops has chosen a traditional block to use in their project. Each shop will have kits for their particular project. There will be no block kits to purchase. Block patterns will be available at each shop. Shops included: The Quilt Shoppe, Ady's Fabrics, Fussy Cut, Sew Much More, Tree City Stitches, Pohlar Fabrics, Stitching Nook, In Stitches, River's Edge Fabric Company and the Back Door. Passports will be available mid December and will be $5. Prizes will be 10 gift baskets worth $200 - $250 each.

International Quilt Festival Bus Trip
Many of you have been asking about going to Cincinnati again this year. Well, the bus has been secured for a trip to quilt festival in Cincinnati again this year!! The date is Friday, April 13 at the Duke Energy Convention Center.

This is a fun place to see lots of wonderful quilts, vendors and demos. The bus will leave our East parking lot (In Stitches) at 7:45 am. We can stop in Greensburg to pick up eager quilters there – Main Source bank lot. Return to Rushville will be by 7 pm Friday night.

We will plan on leaving Cincinnati about 5:00. (We listened to you last year.) We need a $25 (non refundable deposit – refunded only if the trip is canceled) by Feb. 1. Final payment of $25 will be due March 1. This includes bus fare, entry into the festival and snacks on the bus. (We must have reservations early enough to notify the bus company if we have enough or get a deposit refund. I doubt that we will need to do that!)

 

Weather Note

Should Rush County Schools be closed due to weather, classes will be postponed and rescheduled. Often we are open when school is closed, but to be sure, please call before making the venture out!
