Summer Greetings!

Quilt market is a blur! We had a great time and picked up some neat things. Of course, fabric is ordered for delivery in September and October.

One thing I brought back is zippers!! Atkinson Designs put together a great display of 14” zippers in 36 different colors! The best part is they only cost 95¢.

Other items of interest include the Twister Tools and I have since received the Twister book with lots of ideas for using charm and layer cake squares. Block Party Studios has a new panel – it’s for Prayer Shawls with lots of neat sayings on it. There are other patterns and embroidery designs that I also brought back. Shannon Fabrics has quilt kits cut in minkee like fabric. They are called Cuddle Quilts. There are kits for a29” x 36” quilt and kits for the cuddle cube.

Dakota Collectibles has 6 new designs at $49.95: Madge & Pete Retire; Quilt Stitch Patterns; Cross Stitch #6; Pamper Your Pet; Build-a-Train; and Free Standing Holiday Lace. Those marked down to $19.95 are: Fun in the Sunflowers; Scarecrows; Nautical Variety; Teapots and Teacups; Cute Kids and Christmas Scenes. These are a great buy at $19.95

New! Petal Pushers by Pearl Louise is a cute summer panel. The panel is approx. 45 x 24 with the print being 20 5/8” wide x 36” long and it makes a very nice wall hanging. Coordinates are also available.

New! Northwoods Botanical is by Holly Taylor for Moda. The panel measures 45 x 24” with 12 squares/panel. The squares measure 5 1/8” x 4 7/8”. This is also available with a green background. New! Birds and Berries is by Barb Tourtillotte for Clothworks. This is a great Christmas and winter panel. The panel is 24” x 22” and costs $3.20. All coordinates are available. There is a free pattern download on www.clothworks.com.

New! Wrapped in Paisley is the newest collection from Kansas Troubles. Layer cakes and charm packs are available.

Caterwauling by Sue Marsh for RJR is a bright and fun panel for cat lovers. A border print is also available.

Tidings by Nancy Halvorsen for Benartex is the 2010 Christmas panel in th eform of an Advent Calendar.

Noel is by Susan Winget for Benatex. This panel, approximately 24” x 44”,  and shows the colors selected for the Stars Over Indiana shop hop in July. The panel can be cut up and individual ornaments made from the squares. Coordinates available.

Apple Blossom Fairies by Michael Miller. It's a little "out of our box", but we thought it was too pretty to pass up! There is some Fairy Frost to coordinate with it. We have the charm pack of the 50 new Fairy Frost colors.
